HOTEL MULLIN

Location:  Bellingham, Washington

A boutique hotel unlike anything that exists in Bellingham today, Hotel Mullin will become a social and cultural hub of the downtown core. The 28-room independent hotel will provide added momentum to the ongoing revitalization and development of Bellingham. The project draws on the city’s past while proactively moving the city toward its next incarnation as a Pacific Northwest regional cultural, business, and artistic hotspot.

Featuring an inviting ground-floor restaurant, Hotel Mullin will partner with the region’s many local distillers, brewers and farmers to deliver an authentic PNW experience. While the broader Bellingham area offers a number of corporate limited-service hospitality options, none tap into the local culture to create importance and significance beyond the run of the mill transient guest stay. Hotel Mullin will occupy the historic Dahlquist Building, originally built in 1907, at the heart of the Downtown Historic District, immediately tying it to local culture like no other competitor. Its destination restaurant and bar will compete head-to-head with Bellingham’ best and the rooftop lounge should quickly become a destination for the neighborhood’s progressive citizens and the hotel’s out-of-town guests alike.
